Meet the Founder
Wilde Pine has been on its own journey to get where it is today… I always enjoyed working, but never knew what industry was the right fit for me. After becoming a mother at 19, I opened and ran my own Children's Shop, which then led to learning photography to capture products, and then turned into running a blog on instagram collaborating with brands. Always diving into the next thing that captured my interest and never finding something that really captivated my attention ( like a true enneagram 7w8).
The blog was my first intro into website building. I dove into Squarespace to try create a website to really communicate the feelings and values behind the blog. With little knowledge of websites (and definitely no knowledge of code) I used google to help create code snippets and customize the website. After building my own website I began to receive inquiries from friends to build their websites and help with their branding as well. Slowly with time and practice, the websites began to become more complex and the desire to incorporate more coded features and intricate designs continued to grow.
Course after course, my experience and capability to create what my brain was imagining soon became a reality. With this new reality the business started to take off and clients continually began coming through the door. BUT with 2 little girls and a busy life soon the business became too busy and I had to find help…
In stepped Rachel (the worlds most amazing OBM). Rachel joined Wilde Pine in May of 2022 and has been helping to organize and manage things to make our processes smoother. We have also brought in designers such as Otilia Tonjum to work with on project and most recently we have grown our social media team with Christian and Indigo!
The joy in design and the love for learning is the basis of Wilde Pine. The reason I was able to finally find an industry to stick to is that coding is a never-ending learning curve that we can always keep working in and improving.
